6 Jurusan di Fakultas Ilmu Budaya selain Bahasa dan Sastra – Sudah punya pilihan akan mengambil jurusan apa saat kuliah nanti? Apabila kamu seseorang yang peduli akan isu kebudayaan, kamu bisa memilih Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB). Kira-kira, belajar apa saja sih di FIB? Di fakultas ini kamu akan mempelajari berbagai ilmu yang bersifat kebudayaan dan humaniora. Biasanya jurusan di FIB ini identik dengan jurusan sastra dan bahasa. 1. Ilmu Sejarah

Pada dasarnya, mahasiswa Ilmu Sejarah mempelajari berbagai peristiwa yang terjadi di masa lalu, mulai dari sejarah zaman kuno yang dimulai sebelum masehi, hingga zaman modern di atas abad 20. Kamu juga akan mempelajari metode, teori dan metodologi dalam mengkaji berbagai peristiwa yang terjadi di masa lampau. Kamu akan memahami bahwa sejarah mempunyai peran besar dalam membentuk kondisi saat ini. 2. Arkeologi

Berbeda dengan sejarah, di jurusan Arkeologi kamu akan mempel

ajari kultur masyarakat di masa lampau melalui objek fisik berupa fosil dan artefak. Dengan mempelajari Arkeologi, kamu akan memperoleh pemahaman tentang sejarah, terutama peradaban kuno saat masyarakat masih belum mengenal huruf dan angka, sehingga catatan mengenai masa itu masih terbatas. Itulah mengapa seorang arkeolog sangat diperlukan saat adanya penemuan benda bersejarah.

3. Antropologi Budaya

Ilmu Antropologi dibagi menjadi antropologi fisik dan antropologi budaya. Antropologi fisik fokus mempelajari tentang ciri-ciri fisik dan forensik, sedangkan antropologi budaya fokus mempelajari interaksi dan hubungan antar manusia. Di jurusan ini kamu juga akan mempelajari seluk-beluk, serta unsur-unsur kebudayaan yang dihasilkan dalam kehidupan manusia.

4. Ilmu Perpustakaan

Jurusan Ilmu Perpustakaan mempelajari pengelolaan sumber-sumber ilmu pengetahuan seperti dokumen, buku dan catatan sejarah dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Di prodi ini kamu juga akan mempelajari bagaimana cara memecahkan permasalahan ilmiah di bidang ilmu perpustakaan dan informasi. Selain itu, kamu akan dilatih untuk melakukan pengelolaan arsip dan rekod.

5. Filsafat

Filsafat dikenal sebagai induk semua ilmu. Filsafat lebih mempelajari tentang permasalahan mendasar manusia dan hubungannya dengan realita. Permasalahan seperti tujuan hidup, esensi manusia, moralitas, dan hati nurani menjadi kajian utama di prodi ini. Selain itu, di prodi ini kamu akan mempelajari pemikiran-pemikiran para filsuf dari zaman kuno seperti Socrates hingga filsuf-filsuf abad 20.

6. Kearsipan

Arsip merupakan rekaman dari segala kegiatan otentik dalam berbagai bentuk media. Di jurusan Kearsipan ini kamu akan mempelajari tentang mekanisme pengelolaan kearsipan, membuat model kearsipan, proses pencarian, serta analisa dan pelaporannya. Ilmu mengenai Kearsipan ini sebenarnya sudah ada sejak lama, namun sayangnya jarang sekali ada perguruan tinggi yang fokus dalam studi ini. Di beberapa perguruan tinggi, Ilmu Kearsipan merupakan bagian dari Ilmu Perpusatakaan.
